Become a part of our energetic team as a Process Engineer at our Porcari (LU) plant. You will report directly to the Operations Leader and undertake key tasks for the plant’s operations. The Lucca 1 site is distinguished for its expertise in producing and processing tissue paper, catering to the B2B mother reels market and supplying intercompany mother reels.

This dynamic role provides the chance to assume responsibility for our machine processes and process control systems, guaranteeing their consistent performance every day.

What you will do:

• Assume responsibility for and manage the enhancement of troubleshooting abilities among professionals in manufacturing.
• Act as a subject matter expert for machine processes, providing expertise and guidance.
• Actively participate in or lead Continuous Improvement projects.
• Identify and support projects aimed at improving long-term productivity, waste reduction, quality, and safety performance.
• Manage safety-oriented processes for yourself and your team members.
• Apply established engineering principles to manufacture high-quality tissue-based consumer products.
• Perform standard technical tasks and prepare operation sheets accordingly.
• Monitor production processes and work methods, collecting, compiling, and analyzing production data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Learn to troubleshoot using root cause analysis methodology.
• Drive projects to support continuous improvement initiatives and achieve set deliverables.

Who you are:

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum six months of experience in production processes
• Ability to lead teams in change and improvement initiatives
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles, production technologies, and methodologies.
• Problem-Solving: Data analysis, identification, and resolution of problems or inefficiencies.
• Teamwork: Effective collaboration and communication with colleagues and departments.
• Adaptability: Flexibility and creative solutions in various situations and environments.
